Jo-Ann Ullrich

Jo-Ann Keller Ullrich, 70, beloved wife, mother and friend, died Friday, September 6, 2013, at home after a long battle with muscular dystrophy and ultimately cancer. She was the daughter of Frederick and Mary (Wallendorf) Keller. She was a graduate of East Paterson High School and The College of New Rochelle. She lived in East Paterson (now known as Elmwood Park) for 25 years before moving to Warren in 1971. Mrs. Ullrich was a Special Education, Elementary School and Catechism teacher for 45 years before her retirement in 2011. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Mount Church, Warren. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, William J. Ullrich, 2 daughters, Laura Ullrich of Bellefonte, PA, and Kristen and her husband Joseph Protasiewicz of Morrison, CO, and brother Frederick A. Keller of Sahuarita, AZ. Arrangements are by Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM Friday, September 13, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Mount Church, 167 Mount Bethel Road, Warren, followed by private cremation. Friends received at the funeral home Thursday, 6:00 - 9:00 PM.
