Joann Tufaro

Joann Tufaro, 80, died Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center at Hillsborough. Born in Englewood NJ, she was the daughter of James and Fran (Macken) Larkin. Joann grew up in Edison and moved to Branchburg in 1973 where she raised her family. She drove a bus for Branchburg Board of Education and Crème de la Crème Day Care. Joann loved Bingo, watching movies on the Hallmark channel, and having a good time with her friends. She and her husband Angelo were known for their Christmas Eve parties in their neighborhood.

Joann was predeceased by her husband Angelo in 2002. She is survived by her daughter Ashley and her son Thomas; grandchildren Christopher and Olivia Cuoco, and sisters; Dierdra Hale and Stacy Pastorek.

Gathering with the family will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Friday, March 3, 2023, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook, with a funeral prayer service beginning at 1:00 PM. Cremation will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
