Jean Donnelly passed away on August 18, 2018 after a short illness. She was born in 1925 in New Brunswick, the daughter of George and Helen (Donahue) Kenyon. Jean graduated from St. Peters High School and prior to her marriage, was employed by Johnson & Johnson. Her husband, Joseph Donnelly, died in 2013. Jean and Joseph met in high school and were married in St. Peter’s Church in 1945. In 1959, Jean, Joseph and their four children moved to Bound Brook, NJ. She was employed by Mack Trucks Inc. in Somerset and Bridgewater, NJ from 1964 in the Human Resources Department until she retired in 1987. Jean was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in East Millstone, NJ. She is survived by four children, daughters Ellen Hodnett (Michael), Diane Donnelly Faerstein (Bert), and sons David Donnelly (Carol) and Jonathan Donnelly (Lillian). She also leaves nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Jean is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Al Walker of Allenhurst, NJ. Jean was pre-deceased by her two brothers, James and George Kenyon and her sister, Helen Turton. Gathering with the family will be Saturday, September 1st, from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the funeral home, followed by an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church in Bound Brook. Burial will be at the Bound Book Cemetery
