Janine Marie Badore of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ passed away after a long battle with cancer on January 3, 2022 at 52 years of age.
Janine was born on November 28,1969 in Queens, NY to Mary Ann Urbanoski and Carl Piro. An independent, take-charge spirit from the start, Janine took the train daily to attend Stella Maris Catholic High School and later earned her LPN from Union County College. While working at Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ, she met her husband Michael Badore who she later married on August 17, 1996 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Perona Farms in Andover NJ. Janine most recently worked for MagnaCare as a Nurse Case Reviewer. A true beach-lover, she started her days cleaning the beach followed by collecting sea glass and photographing the sunrise. Janine received the 2021 Volunteer of the Year award from the Mayor of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. Entertaining family and friends was one of her favorite past times, and she will be fondly remembered for pool parties at her backyard tiki bar and cooking endless dishes on Christmas Eve. Janine was a completely generous soul, an avid animal-lover who took the time to greet each pet she saw, and was loved by so many.
Only eclipsing her love of the Pittsburgh Steelers was the love she had for her family. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Michael Badore, and children Jarrett, age 24 of Tampa, FL, and Rebecca, age 21 of Deland, FL. Parents: Mary Ann & Ed Urbanoski of Forked River, NJ; Carl Piro of Port St. Lucie, FL and in-laws MaryAnn "Nana" Badore & Chet Scaletti, the NJ/FL Snowbirds. Siblings: Tricia and Ed Urbanoski, Carl Jr, Nicole Piro. Sisters-in-law: Michelle Badore of St. Augustine, FL; Patty Badore of Hillsborough, NJ; Erin Urbanoski of Phoenix, AZ . Nieces and nephews: Melissa Chuhran & Nicholas Buck of Bethlehem, PA; Alex Chuhran of St. Johns, FL; Victoria Badore of Hillsborough, NJ. She will be greatly missed by so many dear friends and rescue pups, Spike & Daisy.
She is predeceased by brother-in-law Mark Badore and nephew Nicholas Chuhran.
Wherever she is now, her family and friends sincerely hope she has a front-row seat to every beautiful sunrise. The family would like to thank Dr. Kenneth D. Nahum and the Regional Cancer Care Associates for their support. A beachside memorial will be held April 16th 2022 in PPB. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
