James Potter

James E. Potter, 74, died at the home of his daughter, Lisa Zervopoulos, on Thursday, June 25, 2015. Born in Gallatin County Junction, Illinois, he lived in Aurora, Illinois, moving to Bridgewater in 1983. He was a manager for American Telephone & Telegraph Co. (AT&T), Murray Hill, for many years before retiring. He then moved to Alpharetta, Georgia, and Yorktown, Virginia, returning to Bridgewater several months ago. James is survived by his wife, Dee Mead Potter, his son Scott Potter, of Las Vegas, Nevada, his daughter, Lisa, and her husband John Zervopoulos, of Bridgewater, four brothers, Jerry Potter of East Alton, Illinois, Gary Potter of Percy, Illinois, Stephen Potter of Florence, Kentucky, Dean Potter of Morganfield, Kentucky, and his six beloved grandchildren, Allison, Julianne, Lindsay, Jonathan, Amanda, and Justin. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 27, at the funeral home. Cremation was private.
