James Overchalk

James Overchalk, 59, passed away on June 26,2019 at 3:14 pm surrounded by his loving family. He has been the loving husband of Debra Overchalk for 37 years. James was born in New Brunswick. He is the son of Walter and Concetta Overchalk. He graduated from Piscataway High School. James was employed by Doka USA for 19 years as a Truck Driver and also volunteered for Arbor Rescue Squad In Piscataway. He was a member of the Zarepath Christian Church in Somerset. James enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going to the beach and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for being a gentle giant with a big heart, humble soul and an outgoing personality. Everywhere he went he made people laugh and always left a smile on many’s face. He is survived by his wife Debra (Rumery) Overchalk, daughter, Haley Sutter, son, Billy and his wife Lisa Overchalk, his beloved grandchildren, Shabrie Overchalk and Lyndyria Larkins, many nieces and nephews and his dog Roxy. Visitation will be Monday, July 1, 2019 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, with services at 12:00 pm at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway..
