James Barglowski

James “Jimmy” Barglowski 62, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2020, at Rehab at Rivers Edge in Raritan. Born and raised in Bound Brook, he was the son of Albin and Catherine (Jannone) Barglowski. Jimmy graduated from the New Jersey School for the Deaf in West Trenton in 1977. He was a member of the school varsity basketball and baseball teams. After graduation, Jimmy began working for the Borough of Bound Brook. He worked in the Bound Brook Department of Pubic Works for over 25 years, retiring in 2016. Jimmy loved to watch football, NASCAR, and many other sports. He enjoyed meeting up with his friends, family and co-workers. He knew everybody in Bound Brook, and treated everyone as his friend. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making everyone laugh. He will truly be missed. Jimmy was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his brothers Lance, Marcel, Jeffrey and Bruce; his lifelong, best friend, Bill Merritt, and many other friends in town. Cremation was private. Arrangements were by Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home. A memorial will be held at a later date when it is safe for friends and family to gather.
