Jacqueline De Iulio

Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ De Iulio peacefully departed while surrounded by her family on Friday May 4th. Jackie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend during her 75 years. She was born and raised in Morristown, NJ, the daughter of Vincent & Sis Butera. A graduate of Morristown High School, Jackie chose to enter the field of Nursing. She obtained her degree from Upsala College and worked for 30 years as a Registered Nurse and hospital administrator on the Franklin 5 Unit at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Jackie was a lifelong parishioner of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown. She also raised her two sons in Morristown, Chris and Jeff Mason, from her first marriage. She married her devoted second-husband Joe De Iulio in 1988 and moved to Bridgewater where she became a mother to Chris and Elizabeth Deiulio. Along with her nursing career, Jackie was a successful Mary Kay consultant for twenty years, earning her Pontiac Grand Am. She loved working to empower women through business success and personal growth. Over the course of her wonderful life, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her memorable adventures include stops all around the country. She spent summer vacations in Cape May with her family and traveled to Branson, MO and abroad with her friends. Jackie and Joe visited their family often and shared trips to San Francisco, Moab, Venice, Denver, Charlotte, Disney, and The Outer Banks with her family. Jackie is survived by her loving husband Joe De Iulio, her children and daughters-in-law and a son in law, Chris Mason & Daniela Chiara, Jeff Mason, Chris & Kathy De Iulio, and Liz & Ryan Smith, and her grandchildren Sachi, Madelyn, Karma, Alyssa, and Sophia, and her brothers and a sister-in-law Bob & Gayle Butera and Dick Butera, as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service and reception will be held for Jackie on Saturday July 14th at 2pm at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown. Interment to follow in St. Peter’s Memorial Garden, with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
