J. Michael “Mickey” Rose, 77, died Monday, August 18, 2014, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. A life long resident of Bound Brook, he was the son of Anthony and Johanna (Stefus) Rose. Mr. Rose was a graduate of Bound Brook High School and was a chemical operator for 43 years at RBH Dispersions, Inc in Middlesex, before retiring. He was a member of the Bound Brook National Guard, Tank Division, the Bound Brook Elks, Lodge 1388, and a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Bound Brook. A member of the Trout, Grouse, Rod & Gun Club, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time with his family and being outdoors, especially salt water fishing on his boat. Mr. Rose was predeceased by his brothers, Robert and Charles, his sister, Dorothy Csuha his brother-in-law, Paul Csuha and sisters-in-law, Kathleen and Rose. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Muriel (Cassidy) Rose of Bound Brook, his brothers, Anthony of Rhode Island and William, and his wife, Lucinda of Middlesex, his sister-in-law, Nancy Rose of Bound Brook, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin 9:15 A.M., Friday, August, 22, at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be at Bound Brook Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123-1718. “Forever in our hearts”
