Isobel Agnes Palasits

Isobel Agnes Palasits (Sue), 80, died peacefully at Care-One at Somerset Valley in Bridgewater on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Born in Manhattan, she was the daughter of John and Agnes (Harris) McRae. Sue was raised in Jersey City, moved to Keansburg for a short while before returning to Jersey City at the age of 10. Sue worked as a receptionist in a Chiropractor office in Keyport, a salesperson at Merle Norman Cosmetics in Woodbridge and Fair Haven for many years and resided in Cliffwood Beach. She loved to crochet, listen to the oldies, and had a dry wit and a wicked sense of humor. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed.

Sue was predeceased by her husband, William (Bill) in 1985. She is survived by her daughter Nikki Palasits and her partner Don Abate; her son John Palasits; her granddaughters Emily and Ava; her brother Bruce McRae and his wife Eileen; her nephew Robert McRae and his family and her niece Susan Eckert and her family.

Cremation was private. Arrangements are in the care of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook NJ.
