Helen Yenchek

Helen Anne Yenchek Helen Anne Yenchek, 93, passed into eternal life on Sunday January 8, 2017 at Arbor Glen, Bridgewater. Born August 17, 1923, in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Walter and Mary Straub Gondek. She lived Pennsylvania before moving to Bound Brook sixty-three years ago. She was employed for thirty years by the Bound Brook School System as a cafeteria worker, retiring several years ago. Mrs. Yenchek was a very active Communicant of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Bound Brook, and was also active in the Bound Brook Seniors. During her younger years she was active in the Bound Brook Parent Teacher Association. Mrs. Yenchek was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony, in 2002, and her siblings Margaret, Rose, Edward, and Chester. She is survived by her son Stephen and his wife Susan of Wheaton, Illinois, her grandchildren Christopher and his wife Kate Yenchek, Audrey Yenchek, and her beloved great-granddaughter Emma Yenchek. Funeral services will begin 9:30 A.M. Friday, January 13, 2017, at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Visitation at the funeral home will be on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M.
