Glenn Widmann

January 8, 1957 — February 4, 2016

Dr. Glenn Roger Widmann, 59, passed away February 4, 2016. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of Elmer and Ellen (Eccles) Widmann. Glenn received his B.S. from Rutgers University, his M.S. from Purdue University, and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue. He worked for Delphi Technologies as Chief Engineer in Integrated Safety Systems. Prior to Delphi, he worked for Hughes Aircraft Corporation in the aerospace and space flight division. He was also an adjunct professor of electrical engineering at Indiana University - Purdue University - Indianapolis. He married Carolyn Crouch on September 6, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Widmann; two step-daughters, Robin (Shane) Sealey and Heather Wyatt; step-grandchildren, Ashley, Piper, Mason, Mikayla, Maddyn; and his three brothers, E. Richard Widmann, Douglas C. (Nancy) Widmann, and Bruce S. (Lynn) Widmann. Visitation will begin at Noon, Saturday, February 27, 2016, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Liberty Corner.
