Giuseppe Balsano

Giuseppe Balsano, 87, died Saturday, November 30, 2019, in South Bound Brook surrounded by family. Born in Italy, he and his wife, Assunta, came to the United States in 1980, settling in Bound Brook and later in South Bound Brook. Giuseppe was employed by the Bound Brook Public Works Department for 15 years, before retiring in 1996. Giuseppe was predeceased by his loving wife, Assunta in 2017. He is survived by his five children, Saverio Balsano of Argentina, Giovanni Balsano of Branchburg, Maria Balsano of South Bound Brook, Rosana Gerzanich and Maria Celeste both of Florida; his sister, Assunta Barbero of Argentina; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Gathering will be 6:00 to 9:00 PM, Friday, December, 6, 2019, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church. Burial at Bound Brook Cemetery will follow.
