Genevieve Jeskie

Genevieve M. Jeskie, 84, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Brandywine Assisted Living at Middlebrook, Bridgewater. Born November 9, 1929, in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Joseph and Agnes Penkala Yachera. She was a resident of Bound Brook for fifty-five years , moving to Naples, Florida, for four years, then returning to Bound Brook. Mrs. Jeskie was a homemaker and an active Communicant of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Bound Brook, the Bound Brook Seniors and the Bound Brook Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Jeskie was predeceased by her husband of sixty-three years, Stanley M. Jeskie, who died September 17, 2012. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Roseanne and Tim Stewart of Middlesex, Donna Tucker of Hillsborough, James Jeskie of Effort, Pennsylvania, David and Laura Jeskie of Naples, Florida, Richard Jeskie of Raritan, Jeff and Tonya Jeskie of Ferrisburgh, Vermont; ten grandchildren, and her seven beloved great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 9:00 A.M. Monday, March 31, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, followed by a 9:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church. Burial will be at Bound Brook Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Sunday, at the funeral home.
