Florence Perdue

Florence “Reggie” Perdue, 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Regency Jewish Heritage in Somerset. Born in Altoona, PA, Reggie was the daughter of the late Joseph and Luella Ketrow. Reggie was a resident of South Bound Brook from 1946 to 1970. She relocated to Bound Brook in 1970 before moving to Somerset in 2020. She worked for Baker & Taylor in Somerville for many years and was a lifelong congregant of Bound Brook Reformed Church in South Bound Brook. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking and hosting family meals.

Reggie was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Perdue Sr. in 2011 and her son Arthur Perdue Jr. in 2021. She is survived by her loving son, Thomas Perdue and his wife, Arlene; her granddaughters Corrina Devlin and her husband John, Kelly Mathews and her husband James; her four great grandchildren Gage, Sydney, Ryder, and Brady; and her sister May Danko.

Gathering with the family will be 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Monday, April 17, 2023, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook, NJ 08805. Services will begin 10:00 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home, with funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick will follow.
