Ellen T Giovanni

Ellen Giovanni, 83, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023, with her family by her side. Born in Bayonne, Ellen was the daughter of John and Ann (Leahey) Wallace. She grew up in Bayonne, close to her brothers and sisters and worked as a pre-admission medical technician at Bayonne Hospital for twenty years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Marine Corps League Ladies Auxiliary, bowled in a league, enjoyed mahjong, playing cards, reading traveling, music and dancing. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was what brought Ellen the most happiness - they were her greatest joy.

Ellen was predeceased by her sisters Elizabeth and Robin and her brother Matthew. She is survived by her children John, Ronald, Cathy, and her husband Tim; Lou and his wife, Maggie; and Joseph and his wife Nancy; her grandchildren John Jr,, Justin, Kylee, Alex, Megan, Brandon, Alex, Sierra, Jessica and Joseph Jr.; her great grandchildren Skylar, Dash, Owen & June Ellen :her brother Bruce and his wife Ginny; sisters Anne Meade; Patricia Ciesnicki and her husband Joe.

Gathering with the family will be 10:00 AM to 1:00PM, Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook, NJ with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Cremation will be private. Memorial donations in Ellen's name may be made to www.alz.org
