Elizabeth was raised in Hungary, and emigrated to the United States in 1949. She met her husband, Joseph and married in 1949, settling in Manville. In 1955 they moved to Bound Brook and raised their four children. Elizabeth was a devoted mother and loving grandmother and great grandmother. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1998. She is survived by her four children Edward Galvacky of Bound Brook, Beatrix Kwiatkowski, and her husband Mike of Hamilton Square, Clarissa Wagner and her husband, Charles of Warren, and Bennett Galvacky and his wife Carla of Lewes DE.; her five grandchildren Michael Kwiatkowski and his wife, Laura; Eric Wagner, and his wife Rosanne; Christopher Wagner; Bennett Galvacky Jr. and his wife Amanda; and Stephen Galvacky; and her five great grandchildren Ada, Michael V, Julietta, Aurora, and Emily Elizabeth. She was a faithful communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Bound Brook. Elizabeth loved to cook, prepping from scratch various Hungarian meals for her family, especially for the holidays. Simpler things would always bring a smile to her face, a golf cart ride or the garden and the family dog snuggling next to her. Elizabeth loved to travel (local or distant) when the opportunity presented, especially to Hungary in 1976 to visit her sister, essentially she wanted to be around those whom she loved. No words can express what our Mom\Grandma was, however her love and memories will live forever in our hearts. Gathering with the family will be 6:00 - 9:00 PM, Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the funeral home. Funeral services will begin 9:15 AM, Thursday at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church in Bound Brook. Cremation will be private.
