Elizabeth Adler

August 17, 1935 — July 31, 2022

Elizabeth Kees Adler, 86, of Asheboro, NC, died July 31, 2022 at Randolph Hospice. She moved from Flemington, NJ, to North Fort Myers, FL, in 1993·with her second husband, Robert Kees, who passed away in 1996. She lived in North Fort Myers and Cape Coral, FL, and Randleman and Asheboro, NC, where she shared homes with her third husband, Sidney Adler, who passed away in 2020.



Mrs. Adler lived in NJ for 47 years, graduating from Westfield High School in 1953 and attending Lebanon Valley College, PA, for the 1953-1954 school year. She had a large private piano studio in Middlesex, NJ, for 18 years under her first married name of May. In 1980, she graduated from Douglass, Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ with a BA Degree with High Honors. She completed a special program for women returning to college and attended daily for 11 semesters with younger students. Upon graduating, she was employed by Johnson & Johnson's Jansen Pharmaceuticals sector, advancing from Clinical Research to Sales and Marketing, Contracting, and Government Affairs. She retired in 1993 as a mid-level manager in Medicaid and Medicare.



Mrs. Adler leaves three sons from her first marriage to Ralph May: Michael May and Paul May of Millville, NJ, and John May of Keedysville, MD, their wives Judith, Sophie, and Cindy (divorced); quadruplet grandchildren Aubrey, Brian, Kevin, and Scott (children of John and Cindy) and step-granddaughter Natasha (child of Michael and Judith). From her second marriage to Robert Kees she leaves step-daughter Donna Kees and step-grandson Richard of East Windsor, NJ, and step-daughter Darien Johnson and step-daughters Amber and Taylor of Winston-Salem, NC. From her third marriage to Sidney Adler, she leaves step-daughter Beth Franzblau, husband Carlo, and step-children Olivia, Max, and Ethan of Tampa, FL, and step­ daughter Pam Adler of Georgia, and step-son Douglas Adler, wife Anne, and step-grandson Leo of Portland, OR. Mrs. Adler also leaves behind her sister, Linda Bian of Asheboro, NC.

A Memorial Service was Saturday, August 6, 2022, at First Presbyterian Church in Asheboro.

Burial with a graveside service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Bound Brook Cemetery in Bound Brook. Arrangements are in the care of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook, NJ.
