Eleanor DeFalco, 98, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025.
Born in Middlesex to the late Attilio and Rosina Miranda (nee Pirone), Eleanor settled in Piscataway with her husband Fred to raise their family.
As a young woman, Eleanor worked in Bound Brook as a beautician and maintained her beauty license all her life. She also worked as a cafeteria assistant at Knollwood School in Piscataway after raising her six children.
Eleanor was, before retiring, a member of the Saint Frances Cabrini Church, where she participated in the Rosary Altar Society and sang in the choir.
She enjoyed spending time playing bridge with her Weekly Bridge Club.
In her later years, she became a snowbird with her husband, enjoying both Florida and the Jersey shore.
Eleanor is predeceased by her beloved husband Fred DeFalco; and her sons Paul and Fred.
She is survived by her loving children, Michael (Bill), Elizabeth, Attilio (Janet), and Peter Paul (Dana); seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as many extended relatives and friends.
Cremation was private. All arrangements are under the care and supervision of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home.
