Eleanor M. Chubrick, 91, died Thursday, September 28, 2017, at the New Jersey Eastern Star Home, Bridgewater. Born November 10, 1925, in Bound Brook, she was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Birchak Radich. She had resided in Middlesex since 1954. Eleanor worked as a telephone operator for the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company, but her true devotion was as a homemaker, dedicated to raising her family. She loved animals, traveling, and flowers. She was a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association and a faithful Communicant of St. Mary of Czestochowa R. C. Church, Bound Brook. Eleanor was predeceased by her loving husband of sixty-five years, Anthony M. Chubrick, in 2010, and her siblings, Irene Gregovich, Emma Collins, Dorothy Kmiec, and Frank and Andrew Radich. She is survived by her sons, Leonard (Annie) Chubrick of Redlands, California, David Chubrick of Middlesex, Lorraine Chubrick of Raritan, Diana (Anthony) Gentile of Flemington; her grandchildren, David (Kimberly) Chubrick, Kelly (Matthew) Chubrick-Neal, Anthony Gentile, and her beloved great-grandsons, William and Andrew Chubrick, and Ethan Neal. Funeral services will be 9:00 A.M. Friday, October 6, at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook, followed by a 9:30 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough. Friends will be received 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Middlesex Rescue Squad, 1400 Mountain Avenue, Middlesex, New Jersey 08846.
