Edward F. Holecz, Jr., 60, died Saturday, March 22, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born October 3, 1953, in New Brunswick, he was the son of Edward F. (Sr.) and Doris Collins Holecz. He had resided in South Bound Brook since 1959. Edward had worked as a gas technician at Suburban Propane, Bridgewater, for fifteen years. He was a member of Lodge No. 988, Loyal Order of the Moose, Bound Brook, and Bound Brook Lodge No. 1388, B.P.O. Elks. He was an avid skier and fisherman. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles. Edward was predeceased by his father in 1985, and his long time partner Cheryl Lynn Parillo in 2011. He is survived by his mother, Doris Holecz Joyce of Brick; his sisters, Carol (Robert) Kemp of South bound Brook, Loretta (Rick) Duardo of Middlesex, and his nephew, Edward J. Kemp of Jersey City. Funeral services will be 11:30 A.M. Thursday, March 27, at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook. Interment will be at Bound Brook Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association
