Edmund Koscielski

Edmund B Koscielski. 1942-2019 Greentown, PA Edmund passed away peacefully on July 15th 2019, after a year-long battle with cancer. Born and raised in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Edmund and Regina (Baluta) Koscielski. He graduated Coughlin High School and served in the US army and reserves. He was married 49 years to his high school sweetheart, MaryAnn Dancheck Koscielski, prior to her death in 2012. He worked for Ford Motor Company in Edison for 33 years, before retiring in 1997. They moved from Wilkes-Barre to South Bound Brook NJ where they raised their family. After retiring, he and MaryAnn moved to their retirement home at Lake Wallenpaupack, Greentown, PA. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed traveling with friends, cruising and trips to Las Vegas. He loved "going to work" at Mount Airy casino every week, but, even more when they "paid" him. He was the greatest father to his three children Anita Koscielski, Sheila (Dave) Shuster and Edmund (Sandy) Koscielski, Jr. The greatest joys in his life where his 7 grandchildren, Emily Koscielski, Deanna, Jillian, Joseph and Sean Shuster and Jake and Luke Koscielski.In addition to his wife and parents, he is also predeceased by his sister Janet Sorbelli of Plains, PA. He is survived by many loving cousins, neices, nephews and friends. Visiting will be on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook. Cremation will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Pennsylavania. In lieu of flowers, he would like to have donations made to St Jude's for Children's cancer.
