Dorothy C. Piotrowicz, 72, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at her home in Flagtown. Born in Bound Brook, she was the daughter of John and Ida (Olowski) Platukis. In 1970, she and her husband, Bob, settled in Flagtown and raised their family. In 1980, she began working as a school bus driver with First Student and retired in 2000. Mrs. Piotrowicz was a dedicated communicant of St. Mary of Czestochowa in Bound Brook, serving as cantor and choir director for over 40 years. Mrs. Piotrowicz was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bob, in 2000. She is survived by her son, Christopher, and his girlfriend, Sherry Dzurko of Burlington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 24, at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Bound Brook. Interment will be at Bound Brook Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M, Saturday.
