Dominic A. Longo, 77 died Friday, November 29, 2013 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born August, 28, 1936, in Bridgewater, he was the son of Dominic and Kathryn Morino Longo. He was a lifelong resident of Bound Brook. Mr. Longo served in the US Army during the Vietnam War as a Captain in the field artillery. He was a graduate of Cornell University and began his career as an architect. He formed and operated his own firm, Longo Partnership in New Providence, for 45 years, retiring 2006. Active in the community, he was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the American Institute of Architects. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Bound Brook. Mr. Longo was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lorelei, who died in 2009. He is survived by his devoted children, Dominic and his wife, Bernadette Longo of Bound Brook, Debbie and her husband, Mark Mastrobattista of Green Brook, Lisa and her husband, Mark Przybyszewski of Flanders, and his beloved grandchildren, Kristen, Amy, Jessica, Amanda, Danielle, Nicole, and Brian. Memorial mass will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, January 11, at St. Joseph Church. Donations may be made to the Steeplechase Cancer Center, 30 Rehill Avenue, Somerville, NJ 08876. Cremation was private.
