Delilah “Dee” Potter, 72, died Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - Somerset, Somerville. Born May 11, 1943, in Grand Haven, Michigan, she was the daughter of Carl and Evelyn Landers Mead. She graduated from Muskegon High School, Muskegon, Michigan, Class of 1961, and earned her Associate Degree from Wabaunsee Community College, Sugar Grove, Illinois, in 1976. She had resided in Yorktown, Virginia, before moving to Bridgewater last year to live with her daughter. Dee was a homemaker, dedicated to her family. She made Raggedy Ann dolls, donating them to charities and local children. She loved garage sales, puzzles, and singing the classic gospel songs. Dee was predeceased by her husband of fifty-two years, James E. Potter, who died June 25, 2015. She is survived by her son, Scott Potter of Las Vegas, Nevada; her daughter, Lisa and husband John Zervopoulos of Bridgewater, and her beloved grandchildren, Allison, Julianne, Lindsay, Jonathan, Amanda, and Justin. Funeral services are private, at the convenience of the family.
