Concetta Mary Benincasa Frezza died peacefully Wednesday morning, May 18, 2016, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - Somerset. Connie was born September 2, 1928, in New York City. She was a lifelong resident of Bound Brook. She graduated from Bound Brook High School in 1947. Connie worked in Shipping and Receiving at American Cyanamid in Bridgewater for many years. It was while working at Cyanamid that she met her husband of sixty-three years, Harry Thomas Frezza, Sr. They were married April 11, 1953 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Bound Brook. She was active in the Bound Brook Little League and a dedicated parishioner of St. Joseph Church. Connie enjoyed a variety of music, big band era tunes of Miller and the Dorsey brothers, but especially the country sounds of Hank Williams, Sr., Buck Owens, and Roy Clark. She loved Dean Martin, Jerry Vale, Eddie Arnold, Elvis Presley, the Platters, Drifters, and Duprees. She enjoyed political radio and television shows and sitcoms like Everybody Loves Raymond , The King of Queens , and Mike and Molly. She was eager to learn new recipes even as she grew older, and loved spending time with her sisters and brothers. She was also devoted to caring for the family dogs, Sandy, Holly, and Sassy. Connie is survived by her husband, Harry Sr.; son Harry Thomas Frezza, Jr., both of Bound Brook; grandchildren Thomas James, Nicole, and Jamie Janeen of Nazareth, Pennsylvania; siblings Serafina and Rosalie and Johnny, of Bridgewater Township, Josephina of New York, Angelina of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and Linda of Orlando, Florida. She also will be missed by many of her nieces and nephews. Connie is predeceased by parents, father Archangelo Rosario and mother “Jennie” Marvuglio; twin brother Danny, and sister Victoria. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 21, at the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church. Interment will be at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. Friends will be received at the funeral home 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Robotics Team of Bound Brook High School, 111 West Union Avenue, Bound Brook, New Jersey 08805.
