Clare Rudden

Clare Rudden, 74, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset, Somerville. Born in County Cavan, Ireland, she emigrated to the United States in 1960. Ms. Rudden was an esthetician for many years. She was the owner of Beautiful Nails in New York, before retiring in 2003. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She leaves behind her sons, Marcus and his wife Valeria, Kevin and his wife Alicia; her daughter, Erika and her husband Tom; her beloved grandchildren, Liam, Collin, Luke, Tristan, Kiera, Chloe, Robert, and Andrew, and her dear friend, Maria (Amparo). Visitation will be, 8:30 - 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 1, at the funeral home. Follwed by an 11:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 35 Mountain Avenue, Somerville. Interment will be at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Steeplechase Cancer Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, c/o Somerset Health Care Foundation, 110 Rehill Avenue, Somerville, New Jersey 08876.
