Christine Marie Albanese

Christine Albanese, 79, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023, at Sunrise of Bridgewater. Born in Bound Brook, Christine was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Angelina (Papera) Yarnell. She attended Bound Brook High School, graduating in 1962. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years, most recently with Prism Consulting in Warren, before retiring in 2006. She enjoyed summers at the beach in Lavallette, playing mahjong, cooking, sewing, spending time with her friends from high school and attending the Adult Day Center.  But what she loved most of all was spending time with her family.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who never missed her children and grandchildren’s games, performances, or special events.

Christine is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard; her son Richard and his wife Jill; her daughter Lisa; her grandchildren Jason, Collin, Tobey, Logan and Brody; and her brother Michael.

Gathering with the family will be 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, May 15, 2023, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ. Services will begin at 8:45 AM at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 AM  Mass of Christian Burial, on Tuesday May 16, 2023, at St. Joseph Church, Bound Brook. Burial at Bound Brook Cemetery will follow. Memorial donation’s in Christine’s name may be made to www.alz.org/nj
