Catherine Pellicane

Catherine M. Pellicane, 87, died Monday, December 26, 2016, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - Somerset. Born July 24, 1929, in Raritan, she graduated from Somerville High School, Class of 1947. She had resided in Bound Brook since 1952. Catherine retired in 1996 as a supervisor at Verizon Communications, Inc., Dunellen, after thirty years with the company. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was an avid New York Yankees baseball fan and enjoyed cooking. She was a Communicant of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Bound Brook. Catherine was predeceased by her son, Joseph P. Pellicane III, who died in 2000. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-four years, Joseph P. Pellicane, Jr.; her sons, Robert (Deborah) Pellicane of Brielle, David (Jean) Pellicane of Glen Gardner, Thomas (Linda) Pellicane of Hillsborough; her daughter-in-law, Karen Pellicane of Bridgewater; and her beloved grandchildren, Vincent (Sarah) Pellicane of Wall, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Michael, Ashley, and Matthew Pellicane. Friends will be received from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 29, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 9:30 A.M. Friday, at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church. Interment will be at Bound Brook Cemetery.
