Bonnie Bostick

October 7, 1942 — August 18, 2018

Bonnie L. Bostick, 75, died peacefully on August 18, 2018. Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of Walter and Beatrice Sherman. Bonnie graduated from Monmouth College in Jersey Shore Hospital Nursing School in 1963 and spent the last 26 years of her career caring for the veterans at the VA Lyons Hospital in Basking Ridge. After retirement, she moved to Cedar Park, Texas to be close to her beloved grandchildren. Bonnie was blessed with a loving family. She is survived by her sons Robert and his wife, Fran of Piscatway, and James and his wife, Tish, of Cedar Park, her precious grandchildren, Annie and Billy. Her loving sister Sherry Pomrinca, of Bethlehem PA was at her bedside, caring for her until the very end. She is also survived by her close cousin, Judith McDonald of Middlesex, who she enjoyed many adventures with. Bonnie is also survived by her nephew, Earl Pomrinca, her niece, Lisa and husband Michael Miller and their daughters Samantha and Amanda, and her husband, Derek Thomas. She touched many lives with her kind and serving heart. Gathering with her family will begin 11:30 AM, Saturday, September 1st, at the funeral home, followed by a 12:30 PM graveside prayer service at Bound Brook Cemetery.
