Blanche Gaddis, 98, died Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May Court House. Born December 16, 1915, in South Bound Brook, she was a lifelong borough resident. Blanche retired in 1985 as a maintenance worker for the South Bound Brook Public School System after more than 20 years service. She had previously worked for Silvray Lighting Corp., Bound Brook, and during World War II, worked in various war production industries. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, dedicated to her family, which she raised with tender loving care. Blanch was pre-deceased by her son, William Mignella, who died June 15, 2013; her great-granddaughter, Nicole, and her great-grandson Scott Wagner. She is survived by her son, Charles J. (Connie) Mignella of Rio Grande; her grandchildren, Kathleen Wagner, Mark, Bruce, Nicole, and Alicia Mignella; six great-grandchildren, and her beloved great-great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 7, at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook. Friends will be received at the funeral home 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Monday. Interment will be at Bound Brook Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Bound Brook Fire Department, South Bound Brook, NJ 08880.
