Betty Yuchnovitz

Betty Yuchnovitz, 89, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Parker Home in Somerset surrounded by her family. Born in New Brunswick, Betty was the daughter of David and Ida (Ross) Auerbach. Betty graduated from New Brunswick High School. She worked as a paraprofessional for the Franklin Township School District for 15 years, before retiring in 2015. She was a member of Congregation Knesseth Israel in Bound Brook, a member of the Hadassah and the Sisterhood, serving as the treasurer for many years. Betty’s greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and attending the many sporting events, school plays, and extracurricular activities they were involved in. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and she will be missed. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Richard “Itchy” in 1989. She is survived by her daughters, Gail (Jeff) Benson; Joyce (Brad) Miller; and Carol Bisbal; her grandchildren Jeffrey, Marissa, Arturo, and Brittany-Ariel; her great grandchildren Brielle, Brayden and Dylan; Graveside service will be XX:00 AM, Sunday August 1, 2021, at Floral Park Cemetery, 104 Deans Rhode Hall Rd., Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852. Arrangements are with Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave. Bound Brook.
