Betty Adriaanse

Betty Ann Adriaanse, 89, died Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Brandywine Assisted Living, Bridgewater. Born January 1, 1926, in Bound Brook, she was a Bound Brook High School graduate and a lifelong borough resident. She had worked at the Bridgewater Commons Mall for 10 years as a customer service representative, retiring several years ago. She was a Communicant of St. Bernard of Clairvaux R. C. Church, Bridgewater Betty was predeceased by her husband, Cornelis “Corky” Adriaanse, who died in 2012. She is survived by her children, Debbie (Michael) Pikulin of Whitehouse Station, Larry Adriaanse of Changewater, and Robert (Beth) Adriaanse of Nottingham, PA; her devoted grandchildren, Michael (Tina) Pikulin, David (Linda) Pikulin, Robert (Laurel) Pikulin, Katherine Adriaanse, Laura Adriaanse; her beloved great-grandchildren, Stephen, Michael, Vivian, Harrison, and Rosalia, and her sister, Viola (Joe) Hoffman of Somerset. Funeral Services will be 9:00 A.M. Monday, May 4, from Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook, followed by a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernard of Clairvaux R. C. Church, US Route 22 East, Bridgewater. Entombment will be at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Sunday.
