Bernardine Dylewski

Bernardine Dylewski, 92, died peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital – Somerset. Born in Shickshinny, PA, she was the daughter of August Federowicz and Josephine Micheline Federowicz. As a young woman, Bernardine moved from Pennsylvania to Bound Brook. It was there, that she met her husband, Joseph as he was walking past her family home on Hardy Ave. Joe and Bernardine soon married and had a family of their own. Bernardine enjoyed tending her garden, and was a voracious reader. She would read three newspapers each day to keep up with the news. Bernardine was a devoted wife and mother and always had a cheerful disposition. She was a communicant of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Bound Brook and a member of the Rosary Altar Society.



Bernadine was predeceased by her husband, Joe; her siblings Peter, Joe, Paul, Sophie, Helen, John, and a sister who died in infancy. She is survived by her son Joe and his wife, Laurie Callaway; her daughter, Doris Dylewski; and sisters Ann and Josephine; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.



Burial at Bound Brook Cemetery was private. Arrangements were in the care of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook.
