Barbara Jean Pyle

Barbara Jean Pyle (nee Hauck), 92, passed away peacefully with her loving family in her heart on July 5, 2024.

Barbara was born in Orange, NJ to Arthur and Eileen (nee Carey) Hauck and had three sisters.

She graduated from Bound Brook High School on June 20, 1950 and married the love of her life Roger Pyle. She and Roger built a life full of family and love. She worked as the assistant to Company Group Chairman at Johnson & Johnson from 1978-1998.

She and Roger had four beautiful children – Susan, Geoffrey, Bruce and Stuart.

Barbara was very active in Literary and Garden Clubs in the Borough of Bound Brook where she made lifelong friends who shared the same interest and passion.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents and husband Roger (2003) and sister, Joyce Vesuvio.

She is survived by her children Susan (Gary) Sleeman, Geoffrey (Janice) Pyle, Bruce (Pam) Pyle and Stuart (Melissa) Pyle. She is also survived by her grandchildren – Graham and Bree Sleeman; Justin and Tami Sleeman; Carey and Jerry Omondi; Jared Pyle; Adam Pyle; Elyse Pyle; Matthew Pyle; Christopher Pyle and Zachary Pyle.

She is further survived by her great-grandchildren – Hunter, Braxton, Griffin, Miles, Emery, Liam and Hawkins. As well as her sisters, Judy Bonnesen and Norma Klotzbach.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on August 11, 2024 at 1 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's name to the Alzheimer's Association at: https://act.alz.org/site/Donation or St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 214 Church Street, Bound Brook, NJ 08805.  Please write "Memorial Fund" in the memo line.
