Barbara J Fritzinger

Barbara Jean Fritzinger, 77, of South Bound Brook, passed away on September 25th after a long and fulfilling life and surrounded by loved ones.

Barbara was born on February 3, 1947 to Rayford and Elizabeth Bentz in Somerville, NJ. Barbara worked many years and retired from John Wiley's in which she made many meaningful and lifelong friendships. Barbara loved spending time with her friends and family. She loved dancing to upbeat music, watching Hallmark movies, and enjoyed the occasional Chinese food. Barbara had a love of cardinals which will always remind her family that she is never too far away.

Barbara loved her family and would make a point to tell them that she loved and appreciated them as much as possible, sometimes with a hug but most frequently with a phone call. Barbara is survived by her two children, Kevin and Karen Fritzinger. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joshua Chavez and Candi Fritzinger, and great grandchild, Caleb Chavez. She is also survived by her daughter in law Lynn (Clemson) Fritzinger, grandson in law Matthew Jimenez, and granddaughter in law Lexi Chavez. Barbara is survived by her two sisters, Judy and Susie, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Rayford and Elizabeth Bentz, and two brothers Steven and Robert Bentz. Waiting for her at the Door to Heaven are her cherished pets, Bella and Tucker, along with many loved ones, including Elvis Presley.

Barbara will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who always knew how to make you smile and laugh.

Cremation was private.  Arrangements are in the care of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook.
