Aurelio Jurado

Aurelio Rafael Jurado, 52, died Sunday, April 2, 2017, at home in Bound Brook. Born May 11, 1964, in Cartagena, Colombia, he was the son of Eddie Jurado and Yolanda Roa. He came to the United States in 1977, settling in Bound Brook. He graduated from Bound Brook High School, Class of 1983. He owned and operated SOR Cleaning Services, a housekeeping service in Bound Brook, for over ten years. Aurelio was predeceased by his father. He is survived by his mother; his son, Omar Jurado of Dallas, Texas; his daughter, Melissa Jurado of Newark; his brother, Eddie Jurado of Piscataway; his sisters, Martha Hernandez and Jennifer Toro, both of Orlando, Florida, Luisa Fortich of Miami, Florida; his significant other, Sol Mercado of Bound Brook, and his stepson, Sabas Osorio of Newark. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 8, at the funeral home. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday, from 12:00 Noon until the funeral time at 2:00 P.M. Cremation will be private.
