Anthony J. Sheha, 84, died Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, Somerville, surrounded by his family. Born September 26, 1930, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Joseph and Amelia [Shalhoup] Sheha. He resided in Bound Brook for the past forty-five years. Anthony was a very loving and devoted husband and a wonderful father and grandfather who will be dearly missed. Anthony served in the United States Air Force as an Airman 1st Class, with the 4602nd Air Intelligence Service Squadron, during the Korean War. He was an electrician and foreman with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 102, Hillsborough, for twenty-seven years, retiring in 1997. He was Treasurer of the American Legion for ten years, and a member of Raritan Valley Lodge No. 46, Free and Accepted Masons, Somerville, Giles - Biondi Post No. 63, Bound Brook, and the Bound Brook Seniors. Anthony is survived by his beloved wife of forty-five years, Joyce Childers Sheha; his sons, Michael A. Sheha of Coto De Caza, California, Timmy Gordon of Piscataway, Tommy Gordon of Dunellen; his daughter, Marilyn Baird of Andover; his sisters, Helen (Sheha) Barthel of Pottstown, Martha (Sheha) McDaniel, Royersford, Montgomery County; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. His ten siblings also include five sisters Ann Jane, Martha, Florence, Mary, Margaret, Josephine, and two brothers, Michael and Nicholas. Visiting hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 29, followed by an 8:00 P.M. Memorial Service at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
