Anthony M. Pranzatelli, 91, died Thursday, November 3, 2016, at home. Born June 13, 1925, in Bound Brook, he was the son of Michael and Rose Altiere Pranzatelli. He resided in Bound Brook until moving to Bridgewater in 1961. A United States Army veteran of World War II, he served as a Sergeant in the 38th Signal Corps, and saw action at Normandy and Okinawa. He was a Disabled American Veteran. Anthony was founder and owner of Pranzatelli’s Audio Outlet, Bound Brook, working for forty-five years, retiring in 1984. In addition to his vocation, he was also an electronics hobbyist and talented carpenter. He was a faithful Communicant of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Martinsville. Anthony was predeceased by his siblings, Ferdinand Pranzatelli and Florence Pitoscia. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Elizabeth Galle Pranzatelli; his children, Anthony (Beverly) Pranzatelli of Bound Brook, Joseph (Maureen) Pranzatelli of Camden, Mary Pranzatelli of Bridgewater, Elizabeth (Chris) Preuster of Monroe Township; his siblings, Thomas Pranzatelli of Bridgewater, Rose Jarvis of Piscataway; his grandchildren, Dana (Derrick) Magruther, Andrea Pranzatelli, Christopher and Michael Preuster, and Alex (Maria) Radus, and his beloved great-grandchildren, Dexter and Delilah, Eleanora and Nicolette. Funeral services will be 9:15 A.M. Monday, November 7, from the funeral home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook, followed by a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament. Interment will be at Bound Brook Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Sunday.
