Anthony Marinelli

Anthony J. Marinelli, Jr., 78, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born November 5, 1935, in Hazleton, PA, he was the son of Anthony J. and Angeline Benedetto Marinelli. He was a longtime Bound Brook resident, graduating from Bound Brook High School, Class of 1954. He had served in the US Air Force. Anthony retired from American Cyanamid Co., Bound Brook, in 1992, as an Instrument Mechanic. He served as a Special Policeman for Bound Brook in the 1960’s. He loved traveling, especially to Atlantic City. Anthony is survived by his wife, Janet Lola Marinelli; his daughters, Kelly Lynn Marinelli (Mike Zaccardi) of Middlesex, Christine Barton and husband David Carter of Lambertville; his grandchildren, Randy, Anthony, Lisa, Ryan, and Brandon; his beloved great-grandson, Dylan; his brother, Rocco (Carol) Marinelli of Bound Brook; and his sisters, Florence Suk of Bound Brook, and Marie Jurado of New Mexico. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 27, at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook. Entombment will be at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Friends will be received at the funeral home 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Sunday.
