Anne M Braden

Anne Braden, 78, of Bound Brook, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville.  Born and raised in Middlesex, Anne was a proud graduate of Middlesex High School. It was during her high school years that she met the love of her life, a young man from a rival school. A friendly competition between high schools blossomed into a nearly 60-year marriage after Anne travelled to Camp Lejeune where Tim was stationed, and they exchanged their vows.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Anne dedicated her life to her family. She taught CCD classes at St. Joseph Church and served as a Girl Scout troop leader. She found joy in the simple and beautiful things in life. She loved Wildwood Crest, where she made cherished memories with her family. A lover of all living creatures, Anne had a special affection for cats and enjoyed sitting on her back porch watching the deer that visited her yard. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, reading, and solving puzzles.

Anne is survived by her beloved husband, Tim of nearly 60 years, her daughter Tammy Bremer and her husband Jim; her grandchildren Jim and his wife Jerica; Danielle and her partner Bryan; and her great granddaughter Josephine.

Gathering with the family will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound brook, NJ 08805. Funeral services will be private.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in Anne’s memory be made to the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, 100 Commons Way, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
