Anna Turczak

Anna Marie Turczak, 73, died Sunday, July 10, 2016, at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown. Born August 20, 1942, in Masontown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Steve and Julia Mikita Granchi. She resided in South Bound Brook for thirty-four years, moving to Hudson, Florida, for sixteen years before moving back to New Jersey, living in Edison and Hope. Anna was a Quality Control Inspector for Revlon, Inc., Edison, for seventeen years, retiring in 1983. She was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting angels. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Oleksa Turczak, who died in 1992, and her sister, Stephanie Granchi, who died in 1990. She is survived by her daughters, Cassandra (Robert) Dudka of Arlington, Virginia, Nadine (Christopher) Tirpak of Apex, North Carolina; her son, Ivan (Linda) Turczak of Blairstown; her siblings, Steven (Lorie) Granchi of South Carolina, Kathleen Krywonos of New York, and her beloved grandchildren, Jesse and Justin Turczak, Nicholas and Alexandra Tirpak, and Cory Dudka. Visiting will be 9:00 - 10:45 A.M. Saturday, July 16, at the funeral home, followed by an 11:00 A.M. funeral service at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Memorial Chapel, 280 Main Street, South Bound Brook. Interment will be at St. Andrew’s Cemetery, on the church grounds.
