Andreas “Andy” Antoniou, 58, of Bound Brook, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - New Brunswick, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born December 15, 1957, in Makrisia, Greece, he was the son of Konstantinos and Zoitsa [Staikopoulos] Antoniou. He came to the United States in 1977, settling in Bound Brook. Andy was a partner, with his brother, Gregorios (Roula) Antoniou, in Bill’s Luncheonette, Plainfield, for thirty years. He was also a former partner of Bill’s II Diner/Restaurant, Main Street, Bound Brook. Andy was predeceased by his father, who died in 2010. He is survived by his loving wife, Panagiota Antoniou; his children, Konstantinos “Gus” (Athena) Antoniou of Lorraine, Ohio, Zoi Antoniou of Bound Brook; two grandchildren; his mother, of Bound Brook; his sister, Polixeni Gotsis of Bound Brook; his niece, Fotoula Gotsis of Cranford; his nephew, George Zotos of Bound Brook, as well as aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, and friends who reside in Greece and the Bound Brook area. Funeral services will begin 9:00 A.M. Thursday, May 26, from the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 A,M. funeral service at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, 1101 River Road, Piscataway. Friends will be received 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made for pancreatic cancer research at the Lustgarten Foundation , 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, New York 11714.
