Alice Binkley

Alice Marie [Creteau] Binkley, first born to Mary [Harabin] and Yves Creteau on February 15, 1949, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Arbor Glen Holly Center, Bridgewater. Alice was employed by John Wiley and Sons for many years before she left to raise her son, Keith. She recently retired from Green Brook Academy in Bound Brook, with over twenty-five years of service. She will be remembered for her generosity and her baking, where she would always make our favorite — with or without nuts! A holiday or an occasion with her baked goods will always be remembered. Alice is survived by her loving husband, Maury, and devoted son, Keith (Michele) of Somerville, along with her precious grandchildren, Travis, Darren, and Skylar. She is also survived by her brothers, Ronald of Bridgewater, Richard (Mary) of Middlesex, and brother-in-law, Warren, of Somerville. Along with her nephew, Ryan (Amy) of Franklin Park, she leaves behind many cousins. Among her many lifetime friends, she will be greatly missed by her dearest friend and confidante, Stephanie. Funeral services will be 9:30 A.M. Saturday, July 23, from the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Bound Brook. Interment will be at Bound Brook Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Friday.
