Douglass S. Davidson, Jr., 69, died Thursday, December 14, 2017, at his home in Milford. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, he was the son of Douglass S. Davidson, Sr., and Marie Jean (Rohack).
Douglass was a graduate of Ansonia High School, Waterbury Technical Institute, the University of Hartford, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, and Rider University, where he received his Master of Business Administration Degree in Management. He worked as a research chemist and held patents on his research with polymers. Douglass was a member of the Sierra Club and the Chemical Society. He was an active member of the Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church in Stewartsville, serving as an Elder and Deacon. He was a long time resident of Bridgewater, and moved to Milford in 2001.
Douglass is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Dottie (Anderson) Davidson; his sons, Jonathan Sterling Davidson and Jeffrey Erik Andrew Davidson; his sister, Ronnee Koenig, and her husband John; his brother-in-law, Lee Anderson, and nephew, Reid Koenig.
Gathering with the family will be 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 19, at the funeral home, and again at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, at the Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church, 17 Greenwich Church Road, Stewartsville, followed by an 11:00 A.M. Funeral Service at the church. Burial will be 11:00 A.M.
