Nancy D. Campanella, 86, died Saturday, August 26, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Born November 21, 1930, in Bound Brook, she was the daughter of Samuel and Louise Fuer Peppe. She was a lifelong Bound Brook Resident.
Nancy was a homemaker, dedicated to raising her family. She was a volunteer in the Pediatrics Department at Somerset Medical Center. She was a Red Hat Lady and a member of the Ladies Elks, Bound Brook Lodge No. 1388. A faithful Communicant of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Bound Brook, she was a CCD teacher, preschool teacher, and member of the Rosary Altar Society. She loved to paint, read, visit the Jersey shore, and travel.
Nancy was predeceased by her loving husband of forty-three years, Michael A. Campanella, who died in 1991, and her brother, Richard Peppe. She is survived by her children, Sharon (Angelo) Zeppadoro of Hamilton, Samuel (Gayle) Campanella of Middlesex, Deborah (Edward) Straub of Flemington, Nancy (Allen) Burdick of Martinsville, Michele (Michael) Jannone of Bridgewater, Susan (Timothy) Lorah of Middlesex, Joanna (Steve) Morrissey of Bound Brook; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Peppe of Monroe, Rose Miklowcic of Bound Brook; fifteen grandchildren, and her six beloved great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 30, at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook, followed by a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church. Interment will be at Bound Brook Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday.
